Robert Pattinson on the casting for Fifty Shades of Grey the Movie

He might have once been the fan favorite to play Mr. Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey the movie, but since E.L. James has spoken out against casting the Twilight couple, Robert Pattinson has fallen off the shortlist. However, the British actor still has his own views on who should portray Christian Grey.

The former Disney actor Shia LaBeouf may seem like an odd choice to play Christian in The Movie Fifty Shades Of Grey, but with his new and explicit project with Lars Von Trier, Nymphomaniac, it seems like Shia is willing to take on a grittier role.

The 26-year-old actor may not have been at the top of the polls to star in Fifty Shades of Grey the movie, but he’s getting the thumbs up from one other Christian Grey favorite. On Shia’s decision to star in the movie, let’s see what Pattinson had to say about it: “I love Lars. I think he’s great. It’s bold, it’s brave. Shia did that fully nude Sigur Rós video already, he’s already popped his cherry, but it’s great.”

On the topic of Fifty Shades of Grey the movie, Robert said Shia would “do anything.” Does this imply that Shia would make a go for it for Fifty Shades of Grey the movie? There is also no smoke without fire, as his name has recently been connected to Fifty Shades of Grey the movie all over varying fan sites, speculating he’ll get the role of Christian Grey.

However, nearly every single actor in Hollywood is battling to get a part in Movie Fifty Shades. Ryan Gosling is supposed to be the fan favorite, with Vampire Diaries’ Ian Somerhalder coming in close second. Other names who have been connected with Fifty Shades of Grey the movie include Alexander Skarsgard and Henry Cavill. Even porn star James Deen says he wants a part in Fifty Shades of Grey the movie, so it looks like it’s going to be a tough fight between Hollywood’s hottest for the most sought after role of the moment.
