James has taken an interest in her casting for the movie Fifty Shades as the role of innocent virginal college girl who is seduced by the handsome and rich Christian Grey who has a dark secret he get’s to share with Ana.

At the moment Universal Pictures and Focus Features, the studios who have acquired the rights to the movie Fifty Shades of Grey, are busy looking for a director and screenwriter before they turn to casting considerations. At the moment the only people we know who are in on the project for the movie Fifty Shades are The Social Network duo Dana Brunetti and Mike De Lucca who’ll be producing the movie Fifty Shades.

E.L. James will play an active part in the making of the movie Fifty Shades of Grey, but will not pen the script herself, however she’ll take part in making key decisions with respect to casting.
